If you ask yourselves where to stay in the Maldives, avoid spending endless hours of searching for a dream destination and book the Vakkaru. Rest assured that you will find an incredibly beautiful spot that offers all you wish for - and more. The resort staff offers unparalleled, heartfelt hospitality and personalized services, the food served in several restaurants is simply outstanding, the premises are in a top condition, you can chose from a variety of (water) activities (go for a Manta ray snorkeling trip in season) and wine lovers will find an ultimate selection of excellent and exquisit wines far away from home. When you leave the island all you want is to come back.

10/10: This is paradise, nothing more to say. We will for sure come back. We have visited a lot of top class hotels in the world but this is really another level especially in terms of service. Joy was just amazing taking care of all our requests. She gave us the feeling as if we could even write her on WhatsApp at 3 am right in the middle of the night and she would still answer within one minute. Evon makes the nicest Cappuccino art and all the staff was just super nice without being intrusive. Everyone should visit this place at least once in a lifetime.

We really liked the attention to small details such as interior design, the warm, kind and very friendly atmosphere and attitude of the staff. Our butler Iby was exceptionally good, very knowledgeable, professional and intuitive taking charge of organising my husband’s birthday and arranging little surprises which we found very touching and made us feel even more comfortable and welcome. The food at all the restaurants, especially at Vakku and Onu was simply outstanding, as well as the breakfast buffet with a wide variety of cuisines and dishes from around the world.
