A Warm and Welcoming Stay with Stunning Views We had an incredible stay at Magpie's Nest in Thredbo. The place was warm, welcoming, and beautifully positioned with breathtaking views of the ski area and surrounding mountains. One of the standout features was the fireplace – it added such a cosy, relaxing vibe after a day on the slopes. The property was easily accessible, and check-in was seamless thanks to clear instructions sent via text message. While there are a few stairs to navigate, it wasn’t an issue for us and added to the charm of the place. The drying room was fantastic – super practical for keeping our gear dry – and the kitchen was perfectly equipped for a small family. Everything was thoughtfully set up to make the stay comfortable and enjoyable. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and well-located base in Thredbo!

The location was great. The description was clear and we knew there would be steps down to the house which was helpful so we knew to pack less. It is nice to have a free standing house and the wifi worked well

The chalet was excellent for our needs. There is a fully equipped kitchen, spacious lounge with views of the mountain and a private car space. The chalet is close to a bus stop and quite close to the main part of the village. The HWS worked very well, the showers were hot.
