Pretty little village & nearby Aldeburgh has plenty of parking or you can walk in, took us 35 minutes & there are loads of places to eat & drink there. The staff at The Dolphin Inn were superb. We ate there both nights in the bar area as we had the dog with us but it was lovely, good service & food. Nice menu, not overly extensive which I liked plus a specials board. I liked that check in was from 2pm....very unusual these days.

Our room was absolutely amazing, very well decorated, loads of room, massive luxurious dressed bed, amazing tea tray assortment with bottle water and milk, mini fridge and dressing gowns and slippers. The food and staff are amazing too. Will definitely be visiting again very soon.

We had never been to Thorpeness before and it was lovely. The welcome at the Dolphin was fantastic, the room had everything we needed. The food was excellent as we had breakfast and dinner there. Suffolk portions are generous.
