We stayed over night to go to the races, the accommodation is perfect clean, comfortable with everything you need. We had a meal in the evening and food was delicious, staff friendly. Thankfully the weather was sunny, so we were able to sit outdoors on the lovely wicker furniture. Breakfast was very relaxed and again food was delicious. I will definitely book again at the old oak tree for our next trip to the races.

Lovely pub in a little village. Only 20 min walk from Thirsk. The room was big and well furnished. Very clean and lots of little extras like biscuits and a fridge. The food at the pub is exceptional and I would recommend anyone staying to book their evening meal there. Would definitely come again.
