Stay Mikado has a very good structural design, luxurious and functional, with plenty of amenities available such as hairdryers, irons, shower gels and soaps. Top tier beds, which were super comfortable. The lighting in the room was great and even the mirrors had its own light, perfect for when you’re trying to get ready for an evening out. The view outside the window was breathtaking as well as the view from the rooftop. We stayed in the newly built accommodation, which is about 5 minutes walk away from the main building, but we had a buggy service available for free, although walking around the island is very enjoyable too. Everything else such as the restaurant/lounge, gift shop, pharmacy and the watersport shop are all in close proximity and we got around very fast. It also has a very beautiful hangout area in front of the watersport shop, where we absolutely loved spending time there. A private beach (bikini beach) is also available which is very nicely made and very clean, with plenty of sunbeds for free, where we’ve also done loads of snorkelling. Ameen, the host, has been very kind and helpful throughout the whole stay, and whenever we needed something he sorted it out straight away. The staff members were also very nice, welcoming and kind. They helped us handling our luggage, provided us with water for our room, done a very nice job cleaning the room, and many more. The most important aspect of the stay there is that due to the Stay Mikado staff we have made the best memories ever. Stress free, good vibes only and very delicious meals & drinks!

I was on my solo surfing trip there. The staff and service are excellent! People in the hotel are nice and welcoming. The hotel organized twice surf trips to the nearby spots. I was lucky at the time I stayed there are bit swell coming so perfect glassy waves. We also went to an amazing private island at middle of nowhere. Its just insanely beautidful!

This is the perfect place for travelers who want to experience the real Maldivian lifestyle. If you are looking for luxury and glamour, a resort might be a better choice, but if you want authentic Maldivian spirit and warmth, Stay Mikado is the right place. Ameen will assist you with flights and boat transfers to Malé. Ameen and his team are exceptional and do everything possible to make your stay unforgettable – from the first transfer to the departure. We were a group of 13 people and had a wonderful time. The hotel offers a shuttle to its private beach, a large restaurant with a game zone, and a variety of activities at very reasonable prices. We saw dolphins, turtles and amazing marine life. The highlight was the New Year’s celebration – a special dinner on their private island with music, barbecue and incredible service. Truly unforgettable! Thank you to Ameen and the entire Stay Mikado team ❤️
