We enjoyed our stay here very much! Abdul and family were very welcoming (we were treated to some fresh mango when we arrived!) and we enjoyed our breakfast and time talking together. The room was very clean and spacious, the water was hot and having a balcony was a nice bonus.

Our stay at Thekkady Homestay was like visiting the family of a good friend. We received a warm welcome and were looked after excellently in every respect. Our host gave us a detailed tour of the area and helped us organize our excursions perfectly. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back! Thank you very much!

Room was spacious and so clean. Perfectly located. The best part of the stay was the humility and graciousness of the hosts. They are a kind and wonderful family and helped us so much. We ate delicious breakfasts each morning and they went out of their way to help us with laundry etc. Definitely stay here while in Thekkady, their prices are also so reasonable for the quality of the stay!

Very helpful host who made a great Indian breakfast in the morning (Appam, Chaat curry, grapes & coffee) - he tailored this breakfast to my specific dietary requests without any problems. He helped with excursion booking also securing me cheaper tickets for a kathkali performance as well as allowing me to check in early and then also to leave bags at the property after checking out. The room was very spacious and clean, bed comfortable. Nice views from a little balcony also. Would stay here again in a heartbeat for the price of the place 👍
