Miranda “Lovely stay for an overnight stop on route to the South of France”

Small B&B with 3 rooms in a rural area 20 minutes from the Route du Soleil. Lovely and welcoming couple who try to make your stay as pleasant as possible. They were more than willing to book a restaurant for us for dinner. They serve a gorgeous breakfast with home made products. Rooms are simple but nice looking. Double bed and bathroom on the ground floor. And - in our case - 2 single beds on a vide, accessible by stairs. Beds are comfortable, although the single beds are only 190 cm long. Bedding is pillows, sheets and blankets (which we didn't need because of the high temperature when we were there). Personally I prefer a duvet over blankets.

Situated in a secluded but central part of the Beaujolais region, this location is among the most serene and beautiful areas, hosted by exceptionally friendly, French-speaking individuals. The apartment, which overlooks a small valley, can accommodate up to four guests. Nearby in the village of Theizé, the restaurant La Feuillée serves delicious meals and excellent wines. Additionally, the breakfast provided on-site is excellent.
