Margareta “Wonderful hacienda close to Merida, recommended for the sisal-tour”

Beautiful hacienda about 30 minutes drive from Merida. We stayed there 2 nights. The guests stay in bungalows, there is a room downstairs, with a small terrace and upstairs with a balcony. We had the room upstairs. The room was very nice, Big, comfortable bed, lovely shower (separated from the toilet), wardrobe, coffee-maker. We asked for an extra blanket and got that immedietly. The towels were changed after the first night. It was very quiet, and the windows had moskito nets. Amazing grounds, we also booked a tour on the haceinda to learn about the sisal making process and to visit the cenote. It is a bit costly (about 45 Euros a person with discount as a guest ) but absolutely worth it! Our guide was an archeologist (Christopher?) who did the tour in two languages, spanish and english, and could answer all of our questions. We really recommend it!

Beautiful little villa in the middle of nowhere. Set in stunning landscape. Gorgeously decorated room and very well maintained grounds. Lovely pool and very friendly staff. Would highly recommend!

The location is secluded and super nice. The rooms are big, comfy, with all the amenities and a nice decor. Food was great. I did the tour as well, which was nice and informative. Cenote is also nice.

Beautiful, peaceful setting - an oasis with good facilities. Great tour and Cenote on site.
