We loved our stay at Quinta Almargem Lusitano. Everything was great from the breakfast that was prepared fresh every day with freshly squeezed orange juice to the housekeeper Paula, who was very friendly and attentive to all our needs. She even packed us some homemade orange cake to take on the morning we left. The room was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. The pool was cool and inviting. We were provided with pool towels and a kettle on request to make tea in our room. The location was great for us with a car to get to Tavira town and other neighboring towns. Overall a wonderful stay and we will surely return.

A clean and comfortable room and an excellent breakfast. I hadn't been sure about booking something out of town without a car, but I'm glad I did, the location was beautiful and quiet and it was very easy to get around using uber.

Everything here was perfect. The room was modern and clean, comfortable bed and lovely terrace area with an amazing view. Enjoyed the pool, it was perfect in the heat of the day. The staff were lovely and accommodating, nothing was a problem for them- they also make a lovely sangria. Recommend breakfast, the cake was to die for. Also the dog was very cute. Only a 5 min drive to Tavira centre and Cabanas. Would stay again 10/10.

Beautifully presented hotel surrounded by orange, avocado, and lemon trees. Our room was spotless and perfect for getting ready for the day. The courtyard is stunning and a real oasis that made it easy to relax and switch off. Customer service was great, especially Paula who went above and beyond to make our stay special. We didn’t try the breakfast but were treated to homemade cake and freshly squeezed juice from their own trees—a lovely touch that made us feel really valued. We also loved Mel the dog and the other animals—they added so much charm and made our stay even more enjoyable. It’s not essential to have a car if you’re staying at the hotel as there are a plethora of Uber/bolt taxis available, but would strongly suggest it for this stay as it made it much easier getting to/from restaurants etc due to the location. Highly recommend for a relaxing break!
