Guest houses Overview

Located in Tavira historic center, next to the Roman Bridge, Formosa Guest House offers bright private rooms. It has free WiFi access in the most central square of Tavira.
Each room combines modern and antique furniture, and some rooms offer balconies overlooking the Gilão River. Some rooms have a private bathroom inside the room and others have a private bathroom outside the room and even have rooms with a shared bathroom. The rooms are cleaned daily.
There are two fully equipped kitchens per floor for guests to use, and Formosa's central location puts guests next to restaurants, cafés and bars.
Tavira Castle walls are a 3-minute walk from the guest house and offers beautiful views over the city. Inside the walls, guests can gaze at the delicate garden.
Tavira Gran Plaza shopping centre is within 15 minutes’ walking, while the ferry to Tavira Island is a 5-minute drive from the Formosa Guest House. Explore the natural surroundings and find Pego do Inferno waterfall, set amidst a luxurious vegetation.
Tavira Bus Station is 3 minutes’ walking from Formosa Guest House, and the Train Station is less than 10 minutes’ walking. Faro International Airport is 40 km from Formosa Guest House.

Great location in the old town; great views, especially from rooftop area; access to nice cafe and bar; brilliant restaurants nearby. Grand old building with charming individual rooms and idiosyncratic suites; clean, bright. Welcoming, helpful staff

The view from the rooftop is amazing. Especially watching the sunrise was exhilarating. It offers the best view of lovely Tavira. The apartment is located literally in the middle of all. The room was clean, convenient, and comfortable. Of course one would prefer the bathroom attached to the room but we knew we would need another key to use the bathroom. We would stay here again.
