We didn't have any problem. We spent in Tavira 2 nights. The accommodation has a great location with good view. We used the shared kitchen to make breakfast and then we had it on the roof of the building - absolutely recommended, it was great. The staff was polite when we did our check-in. If you have a car, use parking near the bus station - it's 4-5 minutes on foot.

From our moment of check in we were well looked after. The staff were very friendly and following formalities we were given our key and headed upstairs to our room. It was wonderful. Very clean and windows that opened out onto the square below and the river and old bridge. The bed was comfortable and we had everything we needed. The bathroom is private, but you will need to leave your room to get to it. Middle of the night considerations here, but it wasn't an issue for me. Kitchen had all we needed and the roof too offered excellent views over the town and up to the church at the top of the hill. No one else used it while we were there and we felt privileged at night to watch the sunset. Note, there are four flights of stairs. With big bags or an unhealthy body this will be a challenge if you need to get up and down a lot. Parking is 5-10 minutes away and even though you could stop outside the door, drop off your bags and go park, it is important to know. Location is very central. You can see everything in easy shirts bursts. If you need to eat/drink there are restrictions below. I thoroughly enjoyed this Guest House. My room was spotless, the location great, the staff very friendly. Thank you for making our stay so comfortable.
