Sally and Michel were exceptional hosts, always helpful, friendly and pleasant to talk to. They showed us around the vineyards and we sat and talked together one evening over a few bottles of wine. The room was great, the bed so comfortable we looked up the brand on the sheets and mattress! For breakfast they first asked us what we would like, and each day they prepared a lovely table full of more than we could finish. On the last day we had breakfast outside, which was especially lovely.

The host were incredible, gave us a full tour of the property and vineyard followed by a visit of the cave and wine testing. Took a lot of time to make us feel at home and answered all our questions. The bed was super comfy, new bathroom and aircon. We loved the expresso machine in our room and all others attentions. We decided to get breakfast too and did not regret our decision. Food was plentiful and very tasty. Hosts made sure everything was fine and made us coffees. Chateau monichot is a work in progress and not everything is perfect yet. The host are however putting a tremendous amount of work and care towards the place and looking after guests while having to manage the vineyard and vine making.
