Fantastic place to stay. Very peaceful and quiet.Comfortable bed and room. Everything was immaculate,room was made up daily.. Jenny the owner and all staff were very pleasant and helpful. An excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. Parking on site.

A fantastically characterful property in a village location with ample parking and easy access to Taunton and nearby towns. Friendly, caring hosts and magnificently furnished, spacious rooms, luxurious in fact. Modern bathroom with a great shower. I wish we could have stayed longer, and as for the breakfast, it was excellent, everything you could wish for, the best quality ingredients and all cooked and presented to perfection.

Quirky, there are lots of interesting things about it, centuries old. Comfortable. Brilliant breakfast. Staff good, pleasant service. Would recommend to friends and family.

Friendly funny host. Substantial freshly cooked breakfast. Hotel is ancient and situated in a lovely village within walking distance of town centre. Will definitely stay again and recommend to people.
