Huge rooms for a motel. Comfortable and Clean, lovely host. Very well priced. Only negative is there is lots of road noise at night.

Stayed because of proximity to event we were attending. Noise from road not an issue for us as we were exhausted and slept through the highway traffic. Suggest that if noise is an issue then ensure you have ear plugs or noise canceling ear buds. Good location, family unit perfect for our whanau - everyone able to have their own space but still able to be together in the evening for dinner and whakawhanaungatanga.

Hosts were very accommodating of late changes, and the unit had everything we needed for a bargain price.

Very old building, peeling paint etc but kitchen, shower and beds were all up-dated and fine and very clean. Couldn't open the windows, but had air-con. Big trucks rattled the building and at times road noise was excessive but we were expecting that from previous reviews.

The office was beatifully decorated for Christmas and the lovely woman behind the counter was super friendly. The room was a bit tired but well appointed and nice and clean.
