I had a great time at the auberge, just for 1 night. Yassin was very helpful, we had coffee together and he helped me store my bicycle. The place is very open and clean, and from the balcony you can see the souk. I had a dorm for myself and the kitchen was also fine to use. It was a very good standard and the people were very nice 🙂

Spent some wonderful days here! Especially Yessin, the host is really nice and helpful! There’s a shared kitchen, a terrace, where you can meet other guests and also a living room. Beds are comfy. Would recommend it for backpackers, who want to explore Tatouine and the area around. Yessine can you provide recommendations for both and even organise a tour.

Yassim (excuse spelling) was extremely helpful and friendly, even getting us the bread and dates when we were leaving at 7.30am. This is a hostel not an hotel and in that respect everything was very good. A nice communal sitting area, small kitchenette with all basis necessities etc. Breakfast consisted of local deep-fried bread, olive oil, baguette and dates, tasty and adequate. Beds were okay. Room a reasonable size. We had our own toilet, shared hot showers which were ok. Very close to bus and louage stations. Yassim speaks English, French and Italian as well as Arabic of course. Very good value for money

The staff were welcoming and efficient and went out of their way to help and advise. Breakfast was too late for me to ever have it.
