The property is quite isolated. To get there by car you effectively drive up a dirt track for half a kilometre but don’t worry it’s worth it. The views and ambience of the place are unparalleled. The German hosts are very welcoming and very helpful

Beautiful house with spotless rooms and communal areas. Spectacular views from the rooftop terrace and only a short walk down to Tarifa. Peter is a fantastic host and made me feel very welcome.

I booked a single en-suite room. There are also small apartments with their own kitchens. I used the communal kitchen which is very well equipped. Had many lovely conversations with other staying guest in the house. This was my second visit to the Floating House. The atmosphere is magic, the position so peaceful and free with gorgeous views to Africa and over Tarifa. A lovely garden with lots of seats, hammock and a bbq are offering paradisic times of relaxation. During bird migration time you will be fascinated by the views, and there are lots of walks in the National Park from the house. A special scenic footpath takes only 10 minutes down into old Tarifa. It is a little steep so coming home is a bit more. I am already planing my spring 25 visit now.
