Built into the ancient walls of Tarifa, El Asturiano offers charming rooms with traditional furniture. The centre of Tarifa is 10 minutes’ walk away, while Los Lances Beach is 500 metres away.

There are 2 connecting bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with 2 single beds, a table, minibar and views over Tarifa. The double bedroom is set within the original Arab city walls and features dome with original 9th-century murals.

El Asturiano was everything we expected it to be and was comfortable, in the centre of town and had an excellent shower. Jesus looked after us brilliantly, offering advice for food in the evening and options for breakfast.

Superb location in the old city but close to the ferry terminal and bus station! The host Jesus was most helpful and full of humour. Views over the city were a bonus. Cosy and quaint!
