We had a great time. The property was a charming terrace house with traditional tiled floors throughout. The host Asher was friendly and helpful. Tàrbena was a great base for going walking in the mountains with stunning walks from the village.

When you walk through the door, you can feel the peace and tranquillity wash over you. The hallway entrance is majestic. The property is well cared for, and the decoration and attention to detail are amazing. The owner told us he loves his home, and it really shows. The owner has gone out of their way to make sure your stay is as good as can be. We had coffee and tea available and also muffins for breakfast if we wished. The owner is one of the nicest hosts you will meet. We left something behind, and the owner is posting it to us. There is a swimming pool nearby which you can use and there are some restaurants but it's a good idea to check with the host if they know they will be open or there are any festivals going ahead which might mean they are fully booked. There is a small supermarket, a short walk from the property, which takes cash or card payments. The neighbours are very nice and when we arrived we had no signal to call the host on our phone so the neighbours did & he came to meet us. The property is comfortable and relaxing with a choice of a bath or shower. There are stairs in the property, and someone with mobility issues might find them a challenge, but we all managed very well. There is one room downstairs & the main bedroom, which is very large, is on the second floor. There is a kitchen with a table and chairs adjacent and living area on the first floor with plenty of seating and a small terrace and seating area in the garden. Overall, it was a beautiful place to stay and a retreat

Really gorgeous house in a very typical Valencian village. The people in the village were very friendly. Our host, Asher, went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed.
