Luxurious and plush interiors. Large sized rooms and bathrooms. Nice central dining area perfect for family meals and talks. Nice partial sea view and view of Main Street. The loud evening music from La Scala and Daiquiri down below were a bonus, creating a pleasant feel inside the apartment. Courteous staff and staff at La Scala also treated us as special guests! They were kind enough to switch off the automation in the main dining hall light. My entire family loved staying at Porta di Mezzo and might surely consider staying here again!

Excellent location in the heart of Taormina to avoid traipsing up and down steps each day and night! Fridge was refilled with many water bottles each day. A/C did work well.

Very central to main area in Taormina. Restaurants and retail shops were basically just out your door. The view from the window was a slice of the ocean and the start of the Piazza. Apartment was very spacious. There are bands that perform close by, but it was not an inconvenience.
