I stayed at La Plage Taormina over my birthday and I can honestly say the team here are exceptional. My heartfelt thanks to Alfio, Diego, Salvatore, Alessi and Giada for their unmatched kindness and hospitality. From the moment I booked, the team stayed in regular contact with me over WhatsApp, which made my arrival so much smoother. That care continued throughout my entire stay, whether I was at the beach club, the restaurant, or anywhere else in the resort - I always felt looked after! When I found myself in a stressful situation one evening over loss of my medication, they went above and beyond to support me until everything was resolved. The team was very well connected amongst themselves ensuring nothing fell through the cracks, and that made all the difference. Being away from home and feeling that looked after by a team that clearly works so well together is something I didn’t realise I needed until I experienced it here. I would absolutely love to be back.

My wife and I recently stayed at the La plage hotel for 4 days having two day at the end of a tour in a standard room followed by two days in a room overlooking the beach with a nice courtyard in front of the room. I note that the hotel had only recently opened and that the beach and presumable the hotel had taken quite a battering after an unusually bad winter storm. That said the hotel is listed as 5 star however the two rooms both identical were small and quite dated, functional and well maintained but not what immediately comes to mind as 5 star luxury. The location is 5 star and the service first class and attentive, with only a few exceptions with new staff, the service was tentative but I’m sure will be just fine as time goes by. The reception staff were very good as were the staff at breakfast with only the bar staff needing a little more time to learn their roles. I rate the property highly but believe the rooms are not at 5 star level anymore.

I had a wonderful stay at La Plage Resort. The staff is extremely kind and always ready to help with anything you might need, which truly makes a difference in the overall experience. The location is absolutely stunning, offering beautiful views and a very relaxing atmosphere. Everything was also very clean, which added to the comfort of the stay. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and high-quality getaway.
