Although not a small hotel Ipanema feels like a friendly family run hotel. The staff are all excellent at their jobs as well as being welcoming, kind a d helpful. The location was good in relation to the beach and cable car with a nice pool and outside area. The arrangement for use of a nearby beach club was brilliant. Good continental breakfast and a varied and tasty dinner menu.

The location is excellent, close to the beach and a short walk to the cable car to take you up to the old town. The staff are very friendly and welcoming.
