The apartment has good cooking facilities, hot water, heating, and beds, but the lighting is a bit dim. Supermarket is nearby. Getting to the apartment definitely requires walking up and down stairs; if you have large luggage, you should consider whether you can carry it quickly up the stairs will take at least 8-12 minutes. I stayed in a sea-view apartment; note that the toilet is in the attic.

Breathtaking view on Taormina, Giardini Naxos, but most of all on Mount Etna. Words fail me and I have seen few apartments in the world with a view like that. Great location within Taormina, close to the center and with restaurants, supermarkets and pharmacies within 10 minutes walking distance while still being quiet. Good value for money, definitely recommend it both for families and for couples. Taormina and its surroundings are a must-see, and Amartía Apartments is the perfect base for a visit.
