Lodges Overview

Stonewell Cottages is a unique waterfront vineyard property, set amongst the vines and overlooking a private lake. All cottages feature free WiFi, a 2-person spa bath, a wood fireplace and an LCD TV.
Each cottage at the award-winning Stonewell Cottages and Vineyards includes a stylish well equipped kitchen stocked with generous breakfast provisions.
Guests can dine in their own private courtyard with barbecue facilities, outdoor seating and sun loungers. Activities include guided educational walks around the vineyard, cycling and rowing on the lake.
Stonewell Cottages offers in-room massages and can arrange for a gourmet regional food platter to be delivered to your cottage to enjoy with your complimentary bottle of Barossa wine.
Located in the heart of the Barossa Valley, Stonewell Cottages are surrounded by vineyards, close to Seppeltsfield Road wineries and premium restaurants, with the town of Tanunda only 5 minutes drive away. It is a 1-hour drive from Adelaide.

Queen Suite with Spa Bath - enter dates to see room photos

Each suite overlooks the lake and has it's own private facilities. Includes double spa-bath, kitchen, cosy fire, private courtyard with barbecue and sun loungers. Please note that the rate is based on 2 guests. Maximum capacity is 2 adult guests. This room cannot accommodate children and infants. There is no capacity for extra bedding.

Hideaway Cottage - enter dates to see room photos

Beautiful 2-bedroom bluestone cottage on water's edge. Includes double spa-bath, kitchen, cosy fire, private courtyard with barbecue and sun loungers. Both king beds can be split into 2 single beds on request. Please note that the rate is for 2 people with use of 1 bedroom. Up to 2 extra adults can be accommodated using second bedroom - extra person rate is AUD 65 per person per night. Children can be accommodated in this room, by special request. Children over 10 years are charged as adults, Children less than 1 year are charged $25 per night in a cot, Children aged between 1 and 9 years cannot be accommodated in this room type.

This secluded one-bedroom sandstone cottage overlooks the lake and features a sunken double spa-bath, kitchen, cosy fire, private courtyard with barbecue and sun loungers. The king bed can be split into 2 single beds on request. This cottage cannot accommodate children and infants. There is no capacity for extra bedding.

The property was fantastic. Right from the pre-arrival info, we were well informed of everything we needed to know for a great two night stay. When we arrived, the cottage was clean and tidy and very well stocked with breakfast provisions, local produce, items for a cheese plate and a welcome bottle of wine. The kitchen was well equiped and it even had a washing machine. The bed and pillows were super plush, and the spa bath with bath salts and candles was a lovely way to relax. The view was stunning and the added container of "breakfast for the ducks" made us smile. It was nice to see local kangaroos amongst the vineyards and hot air balloons soaring above as we woke up. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to going back in winter when we can utilise the indoor wood heater and the fire pit outside. Thanks to Tina for checking in on us during our stay and making it a memorable experience.

The complimentary breakfast provisions were brilliant....far more than we expected or could eat :) The complimentary port was also fantastic. the wine rack idea was great and saved us having to decide which ones to buy. Tina was very helpful in giving advice and helping us book bikes for delivery at Barossa Bikes...well worth the effort.

What a fabulous place to stay. Styled beautifully yet comfortably. Bed/bedding/shower/spa 10/10… breakfast provisions were plentiful, and we were spoilt with some fabulous local complimentary products, all first class. Great communication with host. Beautiful personal touches that make for truly memorable, enjoyable stay.

Cupid’s Cottage was divine. The most gorgeous set up on a private lake with your own little rowboat set the scene for a truly beautiful weekend. The cottage itself has everything you could possibly want/need and is spotlessly clean! The bed was super comfortable and the spa bath was the best with an abundance of candles supplied along with loccitane toiletries. Tina has thought of everything with all the little extra touches. This truly took our stay to the next level including an abundance of local produce for breakfast provisions, snacks, wines, chocolates and a cheese board all included in the price! We had the best weekend here and cannot wait to return. Highly recommend ♥️
