Location was perfect; just a 5 minute walk to centre of town and the wine shop was even closer. The property has been renovated to a very high standard with hosts not scrimping on any item in the kitchen so if you want to cook knock yourselves out. The only small issue was hanging space in the bedrooms and maybe a small set of drawers so you could unpack for your stay. The bedrooms are all roomy with good bed linen and pillows. Each has an ensuite with the main having a great bath which was used on two occasions. The living space is magnificent with a view to the back garden and lawn. On a nice day the outside setting would have been where we lived. The hosts contacted us on more than one occasions to see if we needed anything (which we didn't) so very considerate of their guests. Our friends who stayed in another house came to visit; all very impressed and a little envious they didn't get the place. Car parking at the rear takes the hassle out of street parking. Only other test of our skills was working out the washing machine. Probably more a thing for us baby boomers. All in all a great stay and one will repeat next year.

We absolutely loved this WOW house. Everything we could possibly need was provided and of high quality. Communication with the hosts was excellent and the location is perfect for a visit to the Barossa wineries and enjoying Tanunda. Thank you for sharing your wonderful house with us. We highly recommend it to anyone wanting a relaxing break and to explore the area.

The beds were incredibly comfortable. Each bedroom had an ensuite. The kitchen & laundry were fully equipped. The location was within walking distance to everything in the main street of Tanunda. This was a stunning period home with an amazing extension.

My second stay here - it’s such a lovely property. Having three bedrooms with ensuites makes it perfect for a Barossa break with friends.
