We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. My wife and I really enjoyed the Costa Rican–style breakfast, while our kids were very happy with the pancakes — a great start to each day. The staff were exceptionally friendly and especially kind and welcoming to children, which made our stay even more comfortable. The hotel’s isolated setting was a big plus for us, as it allowed us to fully disconnect from our usual routine and relax. It’s also conveniently located close to several entrances to national parks, making it a great base for exploring the area. Overall, a relaxing and family-friendly place that we would happily recommend.

We stayed two nights on Vida Aventura in room 5, one of the two apartments on ground floor level. Very clean. It had one very large bed, a room with twin beds and a single bed in another place, rooms with beds not divided by doors. There even was a large kitchen. The advantage of the disadvantage that Vida Aventura is located at the end of a rather bad (only the last few km) unpaved road is the remote and quiet location. No mass tourism. The additional dinner, very convenient because of the location, was good. The way to the Natural Park is easy to drive and takes about 30 minutes. We liked the swimming pool and jacuzzi.

I was very pleased with the kidness of all the employees. You felt they want to give you a very nice vacation. The rooms are clean and nice. The pool with the slide is a very nice bonus especially when traveling with kids. The horse ride was fantastic with the views on the volcano and just with our family.

A really nice, remote and quiet place ! We really enjoyed our stay and the jaccuzi after a long day of activities .
