The fine print
From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted. Please note that the tourism fee MYR10 only applicable to international guest,Heritage Charges (Caj Warisan) will be changed RM10 per room, per day starting 1st January 2025.For Prestigious Events, a charge of RM20 per room, per night will apply during Langkawi International Maritime & Aerospace (LIMA), Le Tour De Langkawi, Ironman, and Oceanman Malaysia.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.

Tanjung Rhu Resort is one of the most beautiful places to which I have ever travelled. The beach is effectively private and boasts some of the most awe-inspiring scenery in Asia. From the poolside or on a beach deck-chair you gaze on a sublime set of Andaman Sea islands. When the tide is low you can walk out across the water to these same islands. I have never seen such perfect sunsets over such a perfect view of nature. The service is above excellent and the staff will do everything they can to accomodate your needs. Finally, my Datai Suite, that overlooked the superb gardens, was immaculate and well-maintained throughout the whole trip.

We really enjoyed our stay at Tanjung Rhu Resort. The extent of facilities and available activities was perfect especially as the location is away from the main tourist area. Having an adult dedicated pool and multiple dining options was perfect, with the best breakfast roti! Alll the staff were very friendly and welcoming, would definitely stay again!
