The fine print
From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.
Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

The Staffs are friendly and helpful. Location is nearer to eateries, Laundry and convenient stores. UPSI Old Campus is just across the road.

I had a good stay at Hotel Sri Malim. The amenities were basic but more than enough for my needs — towels were provided, although do note that there’s no shampoo, so bring your own. My room didn’t have any windows, but the lighting was bright enough that it didn’t feel too enclosed, so it wasn’t really an issue. The room and common areas were clean, which I really appreciated. Despite reading a few negative reviews before coming, I decided to stay here mainly because of the location, which is really convenient and close to UPSI. One of the best things about the location is that there are lots of food options nearby — from Malay-Thai to Chinese restaurants and even some western food choices. Very convenient if you don’t feel like driving far. I was also pleasantly surprised to find a smart TV in the room, which allowed me to connect to my Netflix — definitely a nice bonus! The staff were very nice and accommodating, which made the whole stay even more pleasant. In the end, I felt like I made the right choice staying here. Overall, a good option if you’re looking for a simple, clean, and affordable place to stay near UPSI.
