Dar Gara is a really nice hostel in the heart of Tanger. The hostel is quite spacious with amazing outside space, which motivates everyone to chill and socialise. The staff is also very nice and eager to help by answering questions or give suggestions on what to do in the city. I really enjoyed my time here and wherever I’m back to Tanger, I’d book this hostel again! PS: Make sure that you read their instructions on how to get to the hostel before you arrive. It’s very easy but for some reason Tanger’s medina is not as easy to navigate and google maps isn’t much help. Just don’t be frustrated and download the app Maps.me before you travel to Morocco. Thanks for the nice hangs and interesting conversations!! 🫶🏾😃

The staff make me feel home. Everthing was just perfect! I had the most incredible stay at Dar Gara in Tangier! From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by Abdu and Anas, who are truly exceptional hosts. Their kindness, hospitality, and attention to detail made me feel right at home, and they went above and beyond to ensure I had a memorable experience. The hostel itself is a gem—spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and full of character. The common areas are cozy and inviting, perfect for meeting fellow travelers or just relaxing after a day exploring the vibrant city. The rooms are comfortable, and I had everything I needed for a restful stay. I highly recommend Dar Gara to anyone looking for an authentic and welcoming place to stay. It's more than just a hostel—it's a home away from home. Thank you, Abdu and Anas, for making my time in Tangier so special! I can’t wait to return.
