The fine print
Boat transfers to and from Tangalooma Island Resort are an additional charge, payable at the resort on arrival:Boat transfers are AUD 88 return per adult , AUD 48 return per child 3-14 years, free for children up to 2 years. This price valid until 31 March 2025 only, From 1 April 2025 price will be 94 AUD for adult and 50 AUD for children.Please note that you are automatically booked on 12:30pm boat on day of arrival (Brisbane to Tangalooma) and the 2.30pm boat on the day of departure (Tangalooma to Brisbane). Please contact Tangalooma after booking to request alternative transfer times.Please reconfirm transfers at least 24 hours prior to arrival by contacting the resort directly.Please note that a 2.25% surcharge applies for payments made with American Express credit cards.Please note that any resort guest that requires uninterrupted continuous power supply for life support equipment, is required to notify the property 96 hours in advance prior to check-in at the resort or its ferry transportation.Please note that a 1% surcharge applies for payments made with Visa and Mastercard.
The resort has a number of high-volume events throughout the year such as conferences, events, film shoots, tourism activations, cruise ship arrivals and large group bookings that can increase the level of guests on the island at any given time. Whilst we reserve some inventory of tours and activities for in-house guests on these days, some of the activities may be limited in availability due to high demand. To avoid disappointment, we encourage guests to book these activities on days other than the days the cruise ships visit. The resort reserves the right to activate high-volume visitation events at any time without notice but will make efforts to minimize disruption on guest services and access during these times. Heated towel rack, plenty of beach towels, staff is amazing, and there is something to do even in rainy weather (table tennis, billiard, trail walks). Dolphin feeding is extremely well organised, family friendly and overall it was a fantastic experience. Pools are aways clean, we saw how meticulous staff are cleaning it (both pools) every day. Each level of the building has washing and drying machines.

It was a nice resort. In need of a refurbish. Could hear the people in the next room very loud and clear. Heard when the carts were going and coming back. If you want to sleep in there is no chance. You have to walk 1.2km to the car park if you drive there. The staff were very efficient and friendly. Plenty of food variety to buy. Merchandise was expensive. The grounds were very clean and tidy. Lots of places to have BBQs.

We bought our own supplies so had breakfast in our room each day. We then enjoyed the beach and water activities and a tour of the Island. We then have cheese, crackers, dips and fruit on the balcony each evening with a glass of wine. The only day we did use the restaurant it was disappointing. Chips soggy, fish and prawns kept warm under a warmer. Not freshly made. Wasn't even slightly warm. Very disappointing. Not a lot of variety to choose from when you are vegetarian. The Asian Fusion restaurant was closed when we were there.

We loved the beach,the room was quiet. The staff were pretty helpful and cheery. We also loved the Wild 🐬 feeding. It was well organised and we had a glorious night for it.The view from our room was lovely ( ocean ). We had easy access to the beach and pool was also clean and calm.

Our stay at Tangalooma was truly magical. Our room was lovely and had an amazing view.the location is out of this world and the best place to have our honeymoon. All the activities we did were awesome and we got to feed wild dolphins as a part of our accommodation package. We will definitely be going back and I highly recommend going,you will not be disappointed.
