Very welcoming family. Speaking english. An old pension like I enjoy. The food was good and the onsen was nice. Amazing view of the river from my room. Very quiet place.

One of the best stays of my Japan trip - comfy beds, delicious home cooked dinner and breakfast and lovely hosts! Absolute highlight: enjoying a self-dug onsen in the most beautiful river in the region.

Lovely, quaint accommodation, wonderful owners. Two private onsens, which was such a treat. Two shared toilets (one for men, one for women) and a shared washroom. Meals cooked by owners and served in the shared eating area.
