The fine print
Takeaway restaurants can be found within 2 miles of the property and guests can eat in the garden (weather permitting) or in their rooms.Talybont is on the A487 Aberystwyth to Machynlleth road. At the village green, turn left if coming from Machynlleth, right if coming from Aberystwyth, follow the road up the right hand side of the Black Lion, continue past some new houses on your left. The road then goes sharp right in front of a pair of Victorian semi-detached houses. Do not take this road, but instead, follow the lane which goes straight on up the left hand side of these houses between the houses and the post box. Llysmeirion is the fourth house on the left.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.

Met by David, on arrival, and given a cup of tea before being shown to the very spacious room. Met Judy at breakfast, the next day, who was equally friendly. Good choice of breakfast menu, which we varied during the week, all cooked to a high standard. As already mentioned the room was very spacious, as was the bathroom; full set of towels and washing products supplied. Room was cleaned daily and the bedsheets etc changed halfway through the week. The room had it's own fridge, which was a pleasant surprise. In a very pleasant, quiet location within easy travelling distance of the local towns and attractions.

Breakfast was excellent with lots of choices including vegetarian, Dave and Judy went above and beyond to accommodate my needs, even giving me access to the boiler room to dry wet motorbike clothes, were very friendly and helpful

Dave and Judy were the perfect hosts from start to finish. Breakfast was excellent plenty of choice. Nothing was too much trouble if we needed anything. Accommodation was clean and spacious with everything you could need. We will definitely be booking here again 😀
