Beautiful old wood cabin with old style furniture in the forest. Fully equipped. Warm. Very calm beautiful area.

Trisha was absolutely amazing from start to end, sending us all the possible information before arrival, coming to pick us up where the bus dropped us off and taking us to the bus on the day of departure. She also took us to the accommodation the long way round just to show us the whole village, explain everything there is to do and see there, recommending places to eat and everything else a visitor of a new place would want and need. Also explained everything about the property and was just genuinely a very nice, warm person. Beside the host, love staying in a proper alaskan cabin, using the outhouse, enjoying a monopoly and hot coffee by the fireplace!

We came for our honeymoon and we loved this place. Very cozy, comfortable, we slept like babies. We loved the little details like the aquarella, the books and the bathtub. There is the bedroom with a big bed and in the salon another bed that we used as sofa 🤗. We received a message from Trisha with the instructions to entry. Easy and very private. Huge parking lot for our big car. Walking distance to Anchorage (6min walk). Kitchen fully equipped. We'll definitely be back here 🙂

The cabin is nestled in the woods, not too far from the town center but more convenient to drive to. The bed is comfortable. I really enjoy the fireplace with automatic switch in the room, it's so nice to sit by a crackling fire. However, the bathroom lacks privacy, it would be even better if a door could be installed for separation.
