For extra guests exceeding the room occupancy, guests will be asked to separate rooms and additional charges will apply. Guests may not be accommodated if there is no availability.Kindly note that the front desk does not operate from 00:00 to 05:00.Please note that the hotel offers free transfer from the Hirayu Onsen bus stop. Guests are kindly requested to call the hotel when they arrive at Hirayu Onsen bus stop, if they wish to make use of this service. Very peaceful atmosphere, we each had the rooms with the Japanese style bath which was very nice, and the access to the private ones. We also very much enjoyed the lounge and the additional snacks / drinks in the reception area which is a great facility due to the remote location. It really had a spa atmosphere totally relaxing. We didn't have the dinner the first night because we arrived after 6.30pm but we were aware of this so ate in Matsumoto before driving up.

Serenity mixed with luxury. Immersed in nature with stunning bath houses, complementary Kuta and sumptuous traditional Japanese breakfast. And such a good base from which to explore Kamikochi.

Indoor and outdoor hot baths were very nice, the bathtub in the bathroom where you can open the big window and enjoy fresh air coming from the forest - just amazing, the food served - pure delight, staff - extremely helpful. Highly recommended!

A lovely traditional Ryokan in a good location just a few minutes walk to town or a short walk through a track at the back of the property to a bus pick up location for Kamikochi. Large traditional Japanese rooms with normal beds off the ground, always a pleasant surprise after many sleeps on futons on the floor. Loved the hot spring spa in our room and the communal fire pit was a huge bonus for us, as was the private outdoor onsen that my partner and I could enjoy together. The optional breakfast was delicious too. I would highly recommend this Ryokan.
