I stayed 2 nights and enjoyed my time so much. The traditional style room overlooking the gardens was the best view in all of my hotels in Japan! Just loved it! I will be back :)

The shared facilities such as the onsen, the garden, the massage chair are all very nice, and the amenities offered are good, especially the Japanese pyjamas & yukata to wear. The free ramen at 10pm is a nice touch too. It's easy to get to Kamikochi in the morning.

Very nice staff :) The Onsen where absolutely amazing. Dinner was very traditional and tasty.
