The staff Yama and Cheerme are especially helpful and informative. The room is very clean and comfortable. We liked the tatami and warm blanket. The kitchen is well equipped with pots and cutleries.

We had a tatami room at the rear on the ground floor. Beds were on the floor as expected. Bathrooms and toilet were clean. Location was great with an onsen across the road.

very comfortable and clean beds, very clean toilets and showers with loads of hot water (if you didn't want to use the fabulous puclib bath house across the road) and floors. Location was very convenient to everything.

Mix up with The Cup of Ensemble location.. The lady staff is very helpful to clarify and offer other alternatives. Good experience of staying in a guesthouse(hostel) for a change.

I LOVED cup of tea! The staff was amazing! She scribbles onto the city map and gave me the best food recommendations. She also recommended day trips to me. It’s a 20 min walk from takayama station and with google maps easy to find. You’re super close to one shrine. And very close there is a local restaurant with awesome tempura🥹😍 cup of tea is very cozy and the beds were so cozy. I slept like a baby.

Location was excellent. Very near the morning markets. It was at a quiet corner. The aesthetics of the property were great. Love it.
