Conveniently located right next to Tainan station. Staff is really nice. Breakfast consists of toast with jam, chocolate spread or peanut butter. Every night, they offer a free workshop (e.g. roasting coffee, making a keychain). This is really great to get to know people. The man doing the workshops is super nice.

Super-convenient location just steps from station; very comfortable bed; chilled vibe; cool jazzy music playing; v helpful English-speaking staff person; basic kitchen facilities in bright kitchen area with lots of natural light (lots of other hostels have had zero natural light!); local info and transport details displayed on wall; old and would benefit from maintenance but character and atmosphere make up for it.

The hostel owner is super friendly! He even organised fun hostel activities, like teaching us how to make Taiwanese and Korean honeycomb toffee (Squid Game fans will know 😆) and roasting coffee beans from scratch. Not to mention, I didn’t do any homework before coming to Tainan, but thanks to his recommendations, I had a really great experience and made wonderful memories there. The location is just a few steps from Taiwan Railway Station. Friendly reminder: the entrance is inside FamilyMart

The location of the hostel in the family mart was very convenient. The hostel holds daily different activities at 9pm.
