Location is perfect. Right in the centre of old town and all the sights. And fairly close to the train station. The host is very helpful and happy to provide travel tips and information My room is spacious, clean, and very comfortable.

I had such a great sleep in this homestay, which was welcome after some very uncomfortable beds around Taiwan. King, the owner, was friendly, warm and patient with me. I had a blast getting to know him and even having a little drink together at the cool bar next door. Appreciated the little tea ceremony as well. I would definitely stay here again on a future trip to Tainan.

It was a real pleasure to stay at OC Hostel! The room was beautifully decorated and roomy, really clean and with everything we needed. King, the host, was super kind and responsive. We could check-in earlier based on availability and do free laundry! The bed was super comfy and we could sleep really well. Also, amazing value for money. We really enjoyed our stay.
Amul “Comfortable Stay for a Solo Traveller in a Central Location”

I stayed only for a night but this was my best stay in Taiwan. Great location - right in the heart of West Central District to explore the town on foot but also in a quiet lane. The room was really clean and comfortable for a solo traveller. The common areas are also quite pleasant and I was able to store my bag post checkout. Perhaps the biggest selling point is the host. After a rather stiff host at my previous stay in Taiwan, it was such a pleasant change for me. Got some great tips from him. In general too, he’s such a nice person to talk with. Wish I stayed longer!
