Location, location,location! Basic facilities adequate, good wifi. Wonderful wildlife and excellent bird photography opportunities.

The location - peaceful, lovely view of Akaroa township. Woodburner worked well, plenty of kindling and logs. Wifi worked well. Kitchen is small (no oven) but okay for a single cook / simple meals. We enjoyed the short walk from Overton Cottage to Akaroa via the mostly private walkway. Much nicer and safer than walking beside the highway. Take a torch if walking back at night.

Location and views were amazing, nicely furnished and cosy. Angie was super helpful and easy to contact. Loved the bell birds and tui.
