This was a fantastic stay! Kylea was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our visit. We loved the complimentary bread and food that really touched my wife. I particularly enjoyed the morning sunshine, bird sounds, and the peaceful view – it was the perfect quiet escape, even without a sea view. The location is great, just a 5-minute drive from Countdown, and our room was very tidy and clean. Plus, having balls for the kids to play with was a nice bonus.

We liked that the Hot Springs Retreat was well situated in terms of everything we wanted to visit. It was very close to Tauranga and Mount Maunganui, as well as Waihi and Paeroa. It meant that we had a great variety of options every day without having to drive significant mileage. The accommodation itself was excellent. Kylea and her family run a phenomenal property: clean, modern, interesting architecture. We loved staying there and getting to grips with the tiny house phenomenon. It was a real talking point and made us realise what sustainable housing is all about. Thanks again to Kylea for her superb customer service and for sharing this wonderful property with us.

Beautiful stay in a gorgeous home and lovely location. Had all the amenities you could need. The bird life is incredible, from the tūīs, to faintails, ducks, hens and Miss P the peahen. The host provided us with complementary items which were so appreciated and delish! The access to the hot pools were an excellent add on as well no complaints at all would stay again!

Beautifully appointed with a scrumptious selection of’extras’. The accommodation is excellent and having access to the mineral pools is a wonderful bonus. You must include this in your itinerary!!
