We were welcomed by Daniela, who has a lovely manner with guests and speaks excellent English -- thanks! It was a nice spacious room with balcony, and plenty of parking in front of the hotel for our motorcycles. Dinner in the evening was buffet style, with plenty of choice and well cooked. breakfast was also good. Views over the Douro valley are fabulous.

The staff are great. There was a problem with the aircon in the room but the staff did what they could to resolve the issue. The only option was to change rooms.

Staff All the staff were really friendly and helpful.The young guy who looked after us in the dining room was particularly lovely. Check in, check out. Easy to do. Room The rooms are quite large and spotlessly clean, comfortable beds and excellent ensuite bathrooms. Food Evening meals had a good selection and were really well cooked. Breakfast has a massive selection of fresh fruit, cereals, meat, cheese, and more. Cleanliness Everywhere was immaculately kept. Car parking. There are plenty of parking spaces at the hotel.

Very helpful staff,good breakfast. Excellent location with good views but you do need a car to get there. Good sized rooms with balcony. Excellent value for money
