This accommodation is a full apartment in the best part of Syracuse. It situates in the south part of Ortigia, the beautiful island and old town of Syracuse. The accommodation is located in a narrow, short street (in Italian: “vicolo"), and has - two bedrooms, with comfortable, large double beds in both bedrooms (so ideal for 4 guests); - there are shelves and wardrobes to find place for your belongings such us your phone, clothes and so on; - there is a living room with a dining table for 4 people, a sofa, many chairs, a TV, etc.; - there is a kitchenette with a plates, knifes, spoons and other tableware, a fridge, and other appliances; - there is a bathroom and a toilet; - there are heating/cooling (climate) equipments in the living room and in the bedroom. The communication with the host went very well. If I understood well, Barbara is not the owner but rather the admin of the apartment (and of others lodgings) in the town. She speaks Italian, and I communicated with her by using my modest Italian knowledge combined with the use of Google Translator (messaging in Italian). - 5-6 hours before my arrival, when I was at my source airport, I wrote to her about it; - she answered on Whatapp very soon, and she sent me a video and a written description about the getting in the house; - when I and my family entered the apartment, we noticed that Barbara had left some delicious Italian welcome cookies for us on the dining table; - afterwards I called her on the phone to say her thank you and I told her that everything was all right; - she asked if we need anything else in the house, but we didn’t, because the house was well equipped; - we asked for more blankets, and we got them quickly; - she was very nice and very helpful with us all the time, she asked almost every day if we need anything else, and she always reacted on Whatsapp quickly.
