It was easy to get to and from the city. Everything was as promised in the add.
Meegan “Great place to stay if you just need an overnight or two, close to restaurants, big mansions.”

Good value for money considering it included a private bathroom which was quite spacious. quietish part of Sydney. Lots of places to eat just down the road. Friendly front staff Kitchen area downstairs
Alea “value for money, pleasant, flawed”

The facilities were good, a little dirty, the floors and bathroom could've been cleaner, but in terms of value for money it was a pretty good spot, good secure building, great location, easy transport around and into the city, relatively quiet place despite it being a hostel. the private bathroom and kitchenette were great. Communal kitchen was handy, so so dirty though. The 24 hour staffed desk was very helpful and informative. We were also allowed to store our bags prior to check in for a small fee, which was very helpful.
Juliet “A great place to stay.”

The list of attributes of this hostel is long. Air conditioning in the dorm at this time of year is what I value. I chose the bunk right near the aircon. Yes, my sinuses suffered for it a little bit, but I want the comfort of the cool air to get to sleep, not struggle to get to sleep in a furnace like some other overpriced Sydney hostels are at this time of the year. And the dorm had an ensuite. And, that is TWO separate ensuites. One is the shower and a basin, and the other is the toilet and a basin. Plus, within the dorm itself is a sink. So there's no shortage of running water. The kitchen has all you need. Even more so - it has an air fryer, in addition to the toaster, electric jug, and microwave. I'd forgotten to buy my own greaseproof paper, and the hostel didn't supply packet paper rounds of greaseproof, so I would suggest lazy people wouldn't clean the fryer after using it. The cleaner had been through, and the inside of the air fryer was spotless. The four gas stove tops, really only two are 100%, but you can easily cook on any of them. I like that shelving is open - I can't stand cupboard doors in hostel kitchens. The outside area is lovely. Bamboo gardens, picnic table-style outdoor dining. The local possum at night provides a sense of Australiana. A lovely quiet neighbourhood. Buses to Central right out the front. This hostel has new owners since I stayed here last, and they are going above and beyond, and it is simply wonderful they really care about guests' comfort.
