The proximity to central station and light rail. The breakfast was great, a lot of choice. Rooms were a good size and very clean

From the moment we walked to the front desk I knew this was a little different. I realise that most front staff are trained to be caring and helpful but the gent who helped us check in worked above the normal ‘standard’. It’s hard to describe but this gent listened, chatted and just seem to be ‘there’ rather than just doing a job. Made a huge difference to a stressful morning. Then the room (which was ready early as we asked for) was amazingly clean and roomy - even it was a little dated in the bathroom - but this was exactly what we needed for our stay.
