The ground floor is perfectly setup for being a social hub, open floor plan with tv room dining area & Kitchen all visible from eachother so you can always see people about. Free dinners are also a great social time as everyone in the hostel collects at around 7pm and eats together. The food is also great & they have some really good cooks on staff. Rooms are comfortable, good solid beds with proper rails for top bunk and solid cover on the top and bottom ends. Power points with a light by your pillow & lockers big enough to fit my fairly substantial big hiking backpack. Plus you get a great weekly rate staying in the 4 beds. Overall, Mad Monkey Potts Point is and forever will be my go to hostel whenever I come to sydney. Top value, top social and top location.

The atmosphere of the hostel was very friendly and welcoming. Sam at reception was particularly helpful with checking me in and telling me how the hostel functioned. I would definitely recommend staying here to others.

The staff were so friendly, and the events were so good! I really enjoyed the events, especially the nights that they offered us food, and the beds were really comfy! Really good experience overall!
