Convenient location, close to transport and easy walking to shops and restaurants. An older heritage hotel, big room, lots of storage, comfortable.

It was a bit difficult to contact the hotel manager at 10am because there was no bell outside and I didn't have a phone number in Australia. Luckily, I had a friend in Melbourne and asked her to call the hotel manager to send my luggage before checking in time. That's fine after all. They're supportive. There was no elevator but the staff helped carry it up to the room. The room was very cozy, the bathroom was shared but very dry and clean, spacious and airy. There was tea and coffee in the common area in the morning. On the ground floor was a restaurant, which looked nice and interesting, but my time there was too short so I didn't have a chance to experience it.
