Perfect, 10 out of 10. No notes! The host is friendly and helpful. Everything is clean and in working order. There is a fire pit right next to the river, that creates a relaxed atmosphere…you almost feel like you are not in town but in a nature reserve.

Everything - the location, the view, the room, the comfy bed, the pool, the breakfast - just perfect! We would absolutely recommend to anyone staying in the area.

This was an amazing property. From the moment we arrived the host was incredibly friendly and welcoming along with her two great Dane dogs who are a joy. She told us where local restaurants were and where it was safe to walk and where it was necessary to drive. Home-made rusks were in the Room room which were a lovely touch. The room was a great size as was the bathroom. There were lots of towels and it was luxurious. The pool and backdrop in the garden was stunning. It really was a joyous place to be and ideal to explore Swellendam.
