Clarence Cottage felt like home and we settled in immediately. Stunning views from the bedrooms. The furniture is really comfortable and the artwork pieces and posters and pictures are great. As is the garden, which is secluded and quiet. Coming through into the garden is like walking into a hidden gem. There are so many large garden ornaments to discover. The kitchen is very well equipped and things like salt, olive oil, all those thins you have to bring with you or buy, were supplied The beds are really comfy, with lovely linen and the bathrooms excellent. Easy drive down to the beach and we took the steam train to Corfe Castle from the centre of Swanage Quite honestly, Clarence Cottage rates amongst the best holiday rentals we have stayed in and we were sad to leave. Great house, with absolutely everything you need in a great location. We would return, so highly recommended.

Clarence cottage has unique quirky decor. The amazing ornaments are a real talking point. The cottage is huge with grand reception rooms and delightful wrap around gardens with lots of secluded areas. The facilities are great with 3 bathrooms and very comfortable beds. The kitchen dining room is great for dinners and the kitchen is very well equipped. The centre of swanage is only a 5-10 minute walk away. We absolutely loved staying here and would definitely return.

A fabulously unique home, has everything you need and more. A large spacious home with fantastic views and amazing garden. Location is private and peaceful but still close to all amenities. We loved the house and garden so much we hardly wanted to go out. We had a girls weekend but would work just as well for a family or couples trip.

Fabulous location, easy access to everything on foot but private and secluded. The property is surrounded on all sides by a beautifully maintained garden with fine plants and artefacts, views and a choice of comfortable seating and eating areas.
