We had a fantastic time in Swakopmund and Ocean Melody was the perfect base to explore the town and surrounding area. The property is about a 25 min walk along the beach to the centre of town. It was beautifully equipped and Anita was lovely and very helpful to make our stay very special

Ocean Melody was an exceptionally good find. The unit we were in was quite spacious, extremely comfortable and clean, and it just felt like home. All that we needed was there, including a coffee machine! The kitchen was very smart and quite well-equipped, which made preparing meals a pleasure. The lounge was very comfortable, as was the large bed - and it was lovely going to sleep to the relaxing sound of the nearby surf (definitely a welcome Ocean Melody!). In addition, we had a lovely, small, courtyard out the back door. Our host Anita was extremely friendly and accommodating (even gave us a lift into town at the end of our 1 week stay there) and made us feel very much at home. Thank you Anita. Ocean Melody is situated in one of the best streets in Swakopmund (Strand St), which is a very short walk from the waterfront. From there it is an easy 15 minute walk to PlazaAmMeer, which is a must see, or you can walk the other direction for 20 minutes or so to the Mole or the town centre. Swakopmund is a very nice small town with interesting colonial era buildings, all situated in a serene ocean-side setting with beautiful municipal gardens. All in all, we were so impressed by Ocean Melody and Swakopmund in general that we would love to live here if we could! Highly recommended!

Best host by Anita, we'll be equipped, apparent with all the needed appliances, wifi. Close to everything in swakopmund and to the ocean. Anita helped us, she is a remarkable woman with a huge heart.Highly recommended
