Arrived in Windhoek Airport. On request, the host arranged a shuttle from Windhoek to Swakopmund @R950pp 5 hour drive. A few pitstops. Because we arrived early evening, the manager waited for us and checked us in. Warmly received and helpful manager. Jaco made sure everything was in place and made travel easy. The apartment was big and beautiful with two bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Full equipped kitchen. Although a few things were old and rusted, it was not too bad. Love the fact that the WiFi was superfast. Privacy and everyone minding their own business. The apartment is awkwardly placed, and no shops close by. Awkwardly far to walk. The beach is right at your doorstep but it is smelly and dirty but some places are slightly clean. One thing that I noticed was that there was dog poo all over the beach. Bit disgusting! Swakopmund was a beautiful city to visit, and activities were phenomenal. Bit of advice hire a car for driving around. The 'uber' aka shuttle services milked us to the core! One thing I learned from this trip is that most Namibians are very unfriendly and greedy. But overall, it was a beautiful trip but won't do it again!

Really huge apartments with 2 rooms and bathrooms, kitchen and dinning room! Ocean view and the beach just in front. As well there is garage for car and guards.
