unfortunately due to illness diagnosed in transit we had to cancel our holiday but my 2 sons'stayed over they thoroughly enjoyed their stsy and aporeciated ypur kindness

We loved everything about our stay at Villa Rose. -Convenient location in the nicest village on this island (close to nice beaches with few minutes drive, nearby tavernas, supermarkets, airport, Argostoli town, and more... -Villa is well equipped offering spatious, clean rooms with nice balconies -Great swimming pool and area nearby as well as nice garden -Stunning views of the sea and landscape -Kind owner who let us stay after check out time (due to our late return flight)

The host is amazing and super helpful! I appreciate his efforts to make our stay comfortable very much. Depending on what you expect from a villa, you may be very satisfied or just satisfied. For me it was my first time on Greek islands, thus my expectations weren't set, and I had to adjust them while staying :) If you plan to stay at the villa with a large group of friends and cook at home, there is a very good grill place. Buy charcoal and fire starter cubes in amount suitable for your grilling demands in advance. Note that if you accustomed to liquid fire starters, they are not available on Kefalonia. A dishwasher is a little bit smaller than I'd wish, but it's a minor issue. If you prefer to eat in the cafes and tavernas nearby, it's not a problem at all. Air conditioning is very good and works perfectly. Bedroom are spacious and have perfect closets suitable even for people with a lot of dresses. Mosquitos at evening time may be annoying if you stay at balcony at dusk. They are not present at a day time, and disappear after midnight. The area around the villa is mountainous and dry, thus don't expect many mosquitos: there is no swamp nearby.
