We arrived in a cold rainstorm and was welcomed to a typical thick walled,high ceilinged Karoo 'dorps'(town) house by a friendly Anneline who gave us all the information we needed and recommended the Blue Moon restaurant where we had a delicious lamb curry dinner before going back to beds warmed by electic blankets.
